Everyone experiences pain at one time or another. This class/group will assist you in using your mind and body to manage chronic pain.

Every year millions of Americans are affected by Chronic Pain.  An estimated 20.9% of U.S. adults (51.6 million persons) experienced chronic pain, and 6.9% (17.1 million persons) experienced high-impact chronic pain.

Topics that will be discussed include (but not limited to):

  • Understanding Pain (Physical and Emotional)
  • Recognizing limits and abilities
  • Explore and change the situations and actions that can be changed
  • Learn to manage situations and actions that can’t be changed
  • Create an action plan for work, home, and play for balance 
  • Learn calming exercises 

Letters are provided by request with 7 day-notice required in advance.
