My name is Dr. Trisha Rich-Thurm and I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, a Marriage and Family Therapist and a National Certified Counselor. I have been working as a therapist to children & teens, individuals, seniors, couples, groups, and families for the past 20 years.

By seeking my support, you are one step closer to making changes in your life that will lead to new ways of thinking, feeling, and behaving. I work with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues in a comfortable and supportive atmosphere, I offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each of my client’s individual needs to help you obtain the personal growth you seek.

In an effort to provide more services through my practice, I have included a Psychological Associate, Liliana Chavez Weichold to my team. She comes with a wealth of experience working in the Antelope Valley and Los Angeles Area as mental health therapist and counselor for over 17 years. Ms. Chavez Weichold is under my guidance and supervision as she completes her doctorate degree to become a licensed psychologist. She is available for individual, couples, and family sessions as well as for psychological assessments.

Hello! I am excited to join Dr. Rich-Thurm's team. I have been in the counseling field for over 17 years. I have experience working with children, teens, families, couples, and individuals. I currently specialize in trauma and have been successful in treating anxiety, depression, and relationship issues, and offer support for parenting needs. My goal is to partner with you to assist you in your personal growth and emotional healing. I am currently is only taking cash clients and would love to assist you if you are interested in working together please contact Dr. Rich Thurm to set up an appointment with me.


About Psychological Associate, Sarah Barajas, PSB 94027905

Sarah has spent time working with young children and adolescents and their families in a home setting. Her focus is supporting clients working through anxiety and child/ adolescent behavior issues using a cognitive-behavioral approach, identifying the client's strengths, and a solution-focused approach. Sarah enjoys using play therapy with younger clients and supporting parents through the therapeutic process. Sarah happily offers EMDR (eye-movement desensitization reprocessing), an evidence-based therapy for PTSD and other trauma-related symptoms. Her hope and goal are to provide a safe, calming, and nonjudgmental environment for her clients and to be a guide in helping them reach their goals. Sarah's approach to therapy is humanistic and experiential and focuses on a client's strengths. She likes meeting clients where they are in life and figuring out what needs they have. This could mean we use a variety of approaches to get the client healthy and living to their optimum potential.

Sarah earned her B.A. in Psychology at California State University Channel Islands and her M.A. in Clinical Psychology at Saybrook University. Sarah is also in the process of attaining a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Saybrook University. She also has experience as a Registered Behavioral Technician implementing Applied Behavior Analysis for families with a child diagnosed with Autism.
